Our Production

Our Production

The purity of the seed begins with quality production in the field. This is achieved through frequent monitoring, effective Off-Type and Diseased Variety  control (ODV), weed management, and maintaining the crop as per company standards to ensure the crop is grown under strict quality protocols.

Field Selection

Choosing the ideal location for production plays a vital role in ensuring both seed quality and yield. Several factors are carefully considered before selecting a field for seed production, including soil health, availability of water, and the ability to regularly maintain the crop to control the ODV's. The previous cropping history is also evaluated to minimize the risk of soil-borne diseases and maintain genetic purity.

Field Monitoring

Our field staff continuously monitor the fields to ensure balanced fertilization, effective weed control, and proper pest management. By maintaining constant communication with organizers and farmers, they closely observe the crop through all growth stages to ensure it meets our quality standards.

Final Inspection

Before harvesting begins, a thorough evaluation of the crop is conducted to check overall uniformity, the absence of off-types, and the physical condition of the plants. It ensures that the crop meets all production protocols and quality standards. Further, moisture levels are monitored before dispatch to the storage facilities.
